Holy Trinity church, Cloudesely Square is now The Cloudesley Centre

Centre of our community for nearly 200 years

Two years of research

Over the last two years, the Diocese of London has been enormously proud to be involved in a volunteer-led community engagement project based around the ‘Tales from the Crypt’.

The volunteers from across London have researched the stories of the people buried in the crypt at Holy Trinity Church, Cloudesley Square, Islington, between 1829 and 1854.

On this site, you will find all the research, reports and workshops we produced, which you can use as a reference library for your own project or as a starter for ten to stimulate ideas.
